Dragons at the University is the competition where students from the Master's programme in Entrepreneurship and Venture Lab’s incubator get the chance to pitch their business ideas for venture capitalists – “Dragons”. Last Thursday, eight teams competed in the finals before an audience of students and actors from the local innovation system.

Klas Moldéus from Venture Lab’s incubator presented AudioApps, a solution for a smartphone-based audio guiding system for museums, and won the liking of both the Dragons and the audience. Master's students Klara Simcikova and Frederik Reetz won the category “Best potential” with their business idea FreshPack, biosensors for measuring the freshness of fish and meat. Philip Werner, both a Venture Lab “incuban” and a Master's student, was awarded together with his colleague for their rhetorical qualities. Their project Radinn AB is about developing motorized surfboards.
