David Rae receives European Entrepreneurship Education Award (EEEA) 2020!
Professor David Rae, De Montfort University, UK, has been appointed 2020 year’s recipient of European Entrepreneurship Education Award (EEEA).
His career and professional activities are centered on applying creative ideas to opportunities, advancing enterprise and entrepreneurship. He believes people’s creativity and ability to learn is at the heart of developing entrepreneurial opportunities and innovations. As a leader, educator, writer, researcher and practitioner, he is committed to enabling people to learn and develop their ideas, opportunities, new knowledge, social and business ventures.
David Rae has achieved professional and academic recognition at international level for his contributions to entrepreneurship research, education, policy and regional development, and as an inspirational keynote speaker at international and professional conferences.
A key skill is his ability to connect academic, business, professional and community, and policy leaders and audiences, to engage and develop them through proactive innovation, learning and change. Effective communication, including use of new media, enables him to develop his profile and impact as an academic expert in entrepreneurship and related topics with a strong media profile, featured articles, online presentations and Twitter.
The award will be presented at an award ceremony during the European Entrepreneurship Education Workshop 2020, 26-27 March in Lund, where Professor David Rae will also be a keynote speaker.
