Anna Brattström from Sten K. Johnson Centre for Entrepreneurship has published a chapter on inter-organizational trust in the new “Routledge Companion to Trust” together with Reinhard Bachmann. The book is edited by Rosalind Searl, Ann-Marie Nienaber and Sim Sitkin.
In recent years, trust has enjoyed increasing interest from a wide range of parties, including organisations, policymakers, and the media. Forever linked to turbulence and scandals, the damaging and rebuilding of trust is a contemporary concern affecting all areas of society.
The chapter deals with how to build, repair and maintain trust in inter-organizational relationships. It’s based on the rich literature on inter-organizational trust and all the various theoretical perspectives that have been applied to theorize this phenomena.
